Improved: Change the display layout of Ubuntu My Computer

The current display layout of 'My Computer' in Ubuntu consists of filesystem, other internal drives and external drives mounted on the computer. this makes it very confusing for average users. also, the filesystem is not used regularly as it contains system files and no avg user wants to play with them. only the home folder is useful for the user which he/she can easily access using the tab provided in the left side of the window.

one of the major issues with this display is when an user unmounts any external drive, the 'my computer' takes him to the media folder. this is very annoying and disturbing.

A solution to this problem is given below in three simple steps:

step 1: use a filesystem tab and locate it anywhere in the top of the window. avoid placing filesystem with other drives in the 'my computer' window.

step 2: combine and consolidate the '/media', 'cdrom, and '/home' folder in the root folder and name it as 'my computer'.

step 3: include '/home' in my computer and create a code that restricts the window from going to the root folder. restrict it at the 'my computer' window.

If this type of layout is used it will become easy for the user to find the additional internal and external medias mounted on the PC. Also, the navigation will become simpler. Average users do not visit the system files and try to avoid opening them. This navigation layout will avoid their contact with system files and prevent unnecessary harm to the computer.
